Unfortunately due to angling pressure on the river, day tickets are no longer available for Saturday fishing on the river. Weekly tickets will run from Monday to Friday. The directors are sorry to bring in this restriction, but we must think of the club members who work during the week and can only fish on Saturdays.

Did you spot our Chairman and club director Grahame on the front of the North Star recently? They were highlighting the danger of kids jumping into the river, something we have been concerned about for years.

Congratulations to Stewart McPhillips who caught the first salmon of the 2010 season. The fish weighed 9.5lbs and was taken from the Stick Pool. Well done Simon!
